2ds agoA Newburgh man has been sentenced to 3 1/12 years in prison for carrying a loaded pistol in his waistband.
Authorities say 21-year-old Jovary Peguero admitted to having the illegal firearm in his possession on Ann Street in September.
The gun contained a bullet in the chamber, according to The County District Attorney.
His sentence will be followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
