Thousands gathered in Yonkers this weekend for the annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Parade and Festival.
The celebration took over South Broadway, where crowds enjoyed music, costumes, and floats.
"I love it, the cultures, many different cultures," said Martha Santiago of Pelham. "It's good to see everybody in one place together, peacefully and having fun."
Ana Garcia of Yonkers said the parade looked longer this year and praised the family-friendly atmosphere.
The event ended with a large party at Chicken Island.
