There was still a big turnout Sunday at the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival despite the dreary weather.
A total of 12 bands were in attendance performing on two stages at Kingsland Point Park.
"It's rainy but it's still nice. We love it,” said Sleepy Hollow resident Giselle Gedeon.
Jessie Spellmann-Mignone, of What’s in Westchester, says this year’s festival is bigger and better than ever.
“We have a VIP tent, we have amazing bands, more vendors, more food, more of everything,” she said. “We also have the Headless Horseman. I don't know of any other festival that has the Headless Horseman,” she said.
The event also featured Sleepy Hollow-based Cozy Coven, who is selling their magical merchandise.
"We were in White Plains before, and I just love this community so much. We've been really embraced by Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown and I just want to do all the events that I can,” said Shyne.
Many say they were excited for the family-friendly ambiance. Event organizers expect around 3,500 to 4,500 people to enjoy the festivities.
