All lanes have reopened on the Long Island Expressway at Exit 44 following an overturned car carrier.

The incident reduced traffic to a single right lane.

All lanes are now reopened ahead of the evening rush and the car carrier has been removed.

Nassau County police say that the driver had minor injuries.
