The community in Medford is honoring the memory of a man who was stabbed to death last month.
A celebration of life was held this weekend at Calvary Baptist Church to honor Timothy Stark.
Prosecutors say the 32-year-old was allegedly stabbed in the back by 20-year-old Joseph Norton at Express Drive South and Route 112.
“Tim Stark was a great guy. I saw him every day. He never hurt anybody. He didn’t deserve this,” said a man who identified himself as Stark’s best friend.
Other members of the community now say they plan to meet monthly to provide resources to their neighbors who are homeless. They say they will call the meetings “Tim Time” in honor of Stark.
The meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the church.
