A woman is accused of driving drunk and slamming her SUV into a home in Suffolk County Thursday evening.

Upon arrival, officers found a 2026 Lexus suburban had driven all the way up into a Melville townhouse causing significant damage to the garage and front door.

A subsequent investigation determined the driver, Marianne Young, 66, of Melville, had been traveling northbound on Northgate Circle around 5:30 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed.

Young was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

She will be charged with driving while intoxicated when she is arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.

There were no other injuries reported, according to police.
