Brooklyn native Tony Danza is taking on a role he knows well: live entertainer.

The actor, boxer and dancer is bringing his one-man show to Café Carlyle, where he opened a limited engagement this week.

Danza’s performance blends stories from his life and career with music, giving audiences a chance to see the familiar television star in a more intimate setting.

News 12’s Joel Crump caught up one-on-one with Danza on opening night to discuss his return to the stage, his Brooklyn roots and why performing live remains so special to him.

The engagement runs through Sept. 19, giving fans a limited time to catch Danza in the intimate Café Carlyle setting.
