'A Matter of Taste' gala welcomed hundreds of attendees and 20 local eateries into the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle Wednesday evening to fundraise for The Arc Westchester.
Some participating restaurants included Vida of Thornwood, the Taco Project, Meraki Taverna of Armonk and 17 others.
The event looks to fundraise for The Arc Westchester, an organization which works to empower people with developmental disabilities.
This year's fundraising goal was $400,000, which will go toward a variety of programs the organization offers - from summer camp to workforce development.
Social media star and Harrison native Philip Schultz, who receives support from The Arc Westchester, was in attendance.
"I empower people with disabilities because I am on the autism spectrum. I am very happy to make people happy. That's why I do my food videos, to inspire people with autism that you can do what you want to do and be positive," said Schultz.
