A power outage affected three Long Island beaches.

PSEG Long Island says that a contractor, not affiliated with the company, hit an underground cable around 4 p.m. on Thursday near the East Bathhouse at Jones Beach.

The outage affected Jones Beach Field 6, Tobay Beach and Gilgo Beach, with 189 total customers affected by the outage, according to PSEG.

PSEG says all power was restored to customers at around 8 a.m. on Saturday.
