Montauk Brewing Company is opening a new location a bit west.
The brewers are heading to downtown Port Jefferson, they announced on their social media over the weekend.
The popular East End beer company will take over the former home of the Port Jeff Brewing Co. on Mill Creek Road, near Main Street.
As News 12 reported, the Port Jeff brewery closed its doors in November after 15 years in business.
Montauk Brewing started as a basement operation among friends in 2012, becoming a staple of the community, close to the historic Montauk Point Lighthouse.
The owners have not yet announced an official opening date for the new spot.
