A Rockland County woman has been sentenced to one to three years in state prison in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Jan. 2024.
Judge Djinsad Desir handed down the sentence to Rosana Dipaola in Rockland County Court this morning.
Dipaola, of Pomona, pleaded guilty to charges of leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a revoked license in the crash that killed Daniel Deserio, a beloved window washer in Nyack and Piermont.

Authorities say Deserio was struck by two cars while crossing Thiells Mount Ivy Road. The first driver stopped, but Dipaola fled the scene. She was arrested two weeks later.
