A groundbreaking ceremony for the next phase of the Station Yards expansion near the Ronkonkoma train station was held Tuesday.
The $175 million mixed-use development will have 285 apartment homes across three new buildings, along with 30,000 square feet of medical space for Northwell Health.
The first building, located on Union Avenue, is expected to be completed next summer, while the second and third buildings are slated for completion in 2028.
Station Yards is part of a $1.3 billion development that, once complete, will be the largest transit-oriented development on Long Island.
