Four residents were displaced after a fire heavily damaged a home and attached garage on Clocks Boulevard Sunday evening, according to the Nassau County Fire Marshals.

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:21 p.m. and arrived to find a fully involved two-story home and attached two-story garage. Approximately 100 firefighters from Massapequa and neighboring departments responded to battle the blaze.

One firefighter was transported to a hospital for possible heat exhaustion. No civilian injuries were reported.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal's Hazardous Materials Division responded due to lithium-ion batteries in the garage. The fire remains under investigation by the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office and the Nassau County Police Department Arson/Bomb Squad.
