A home in Fire Island Pines collapsed after a fire tore through the property Wednesday afternoon.

The flames broke out along Ocean Walk, prompting firefighters to respond to the scene. The West Sayville Fire Department took a ferry to Fire Island to assist with battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Authorities have not yet released information about any reported injuries.
