An Elmont man accused of fatally shooting a Florida man outside a Queens nightclub is now facing a murder charge.

Prosecutors say 35-year-old Jhavaughn Pinnock shot 23-year-old Jevaughn Jeminson outside Pure Lounge in April 2023.

According to prosecutors, Pinnock and co-defendant Christopher King were inside the club socializing with friends who later left. The pair allegedly remained inside and sat near the exit, where Jeminson received a text message and began leaving the lounge.

Prosecutors say Pinnock and King immediately followed him outside. Once outside, Pinnock allegedly exchanged words with Jeminson before pulling out a gun and shooting him beneath the chin.

Authorities say Jeminson attempted to flee as both men chased him while firing but he eventually fell to the ground.

Prosecutors say Pinnock stood over him and fired multiple shots at close range, started walking away, but then came back and shot Jeminson again.

Pinnock and King then fled in a BMW, prosecutors say.

Jeminson was pronounced dead at a hospital. Prosecutors say he suffered four gunshot wounds to the head and face, two to the abdomen, four to the back and one to the arm.

Pinnock was placed on the U.S. Marshals' wanted list for murder last year.

He was arrested in Hollywood, Florida, in August and extradited to Queens on Tuesday.
