Croton-on-Hudson Fire Chief Philip Dinkler says a fire started Sunday morning at Bari Manor Apartments.
Dinkler says the reports initially stated the fire began in apartment 45.
“When we got here we actually found a large fire in apartment 50, which is directly below that one [45], and had fires in apartments 49, 50, 45, and 46," said Chief Dinkler.
At this time, he estimates 15 people were affected by the fire on all three floors.
Emergency services from Montrose, Ossining, Peekskill, Croton-on-Hudson and Buchanan were all seen on scene.
Dinkler says no injuries have been reported at this time and that the American Red Cross has been contacted.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
