A dispute between two men took a violent turn inside a Sayville restaurant early Friday morning.
Suffolk police say Aaron Gonzalez, 23, stabbed the 19-year-old victim after they began arguing around 1:10 a.m. at 60 South Main St.
The victim was taken to South Shore University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Gonzalez was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in Patchogue with minor injuries.
Police say he is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was held by police overnight and set to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
